This blog started out as a place where I can write down exactly how I did something so that I won’t have to RTFM it all over again three weeks later.

So that’s what this blog is about: the summary of loopy sessions of interneting, googling, stackoverflowing, foruming, Q&Aing, FAQing, twittering and what not, all for a glimpse at the f**king manual.

The subtitle is paraphrasing the great mathematician Paul Erdős who spoke about an imaginary book in which God had written down the best and most elegant proofs for mathematical theorems and (at least) once said: “You don’t have to believe in God, but you should believe in The Book.”

I am Yoav Ram, a Ph.D. student at the Evolutionary Theory Lab at Tel-Aviv University. Find me on twitter
